Hildasholm opens for the season on 14 May. We warmly welcome visitors to a new summer filled with gardens, art, history and experiences on the banks of Lake Siljan.
The opening ceremony starts at 11.00 when the County Governor Helena Höij opening speeches in the garden. This will be followed by guided tours of the house at 12.00 and 13.00.
During the day, the café is also open for those who want to sit down and enjoy the garden.
This year's season has a special significance as it is 150 years since Hilda Munthe was born. Together with Axel Munthe, Hilda created Hildasholm as a place for culture, meetings and inspiration. During the summer, we will celebrate her life and work in various ways.
We look forward to reopening the gates and welcoming both new and returning visitors.
