About us

Munthes Hildasholm has been owned by a foundation since 1980. The main purpose of the foundation is to maintain and manage the property as a cultural-historical memorial and to ensure that it is open to visitors.

According to the foundation's statutes, the board must include representatives from Leksand municipality's cultural committee, Leksand parish church council, Axel and Hilda Munthe's heirs, the Munthe family association and someone with expertise in business and economics. A special expert is appointed as chairman.
