On 6-13 September, Hildasholm, Alfvéngården and Nybrokyrkan in Falun will be filled with classical music, folk music and living stories. Hildasholm Music is back - and this year's programme offers both returnees, young talents and new constellations.
The artistic director of the festival is violinist Elisabeth Zeuthen Schneider, who together with musicians such as Mina Fred, Daniele Rinaldo and Toke Møldrup, is creating a week where musical presence, generosity and craftsmanship take centre stage.
The programme includes:
- Hildasholm General Assembly - full day of folk music, games and bush games in the garden
- String meeting in the spirit of Alfvén - Haydn, Dvořák and the sounds of Gotland
- Youth and experience - an intergenerational meeting in Falun
- Zorn's folk music - stories in words, images and sound
- Con Amore - chamber music with wine service in the lounge
- The wings of song - from Mozart to Brahms
