On 5 and 12 July, Hildasholm opens its doors to you who long for a place to breathe. Through poetry, conversation and personal writing, we will open up new kinds of discussions, both within ourselves and with each other.

Childhood Theme

Here at Hildasholm, there is a long tradition of creative work. The theme of childhood brings us to Ellen Key's pioneering work The Century of the Child. Key described the child as a plant that needs freedom and nourishment to develop its potential, and she saw the child as the bearer of a natural creativity and curiosity that adult life all too often teaches us to put aside.

What happens to the child within us? The one who once drew without thinking about the outcome, who asked questions without worrying about the answers?

In the afternoon, we use poetry and our own writing as a way back – not to become children again, but to rediscover something we may have forgotten to bring with us. 

With a curious exploration into the source of creativity within us, we will evoke this energy together this afternoon.

Price: 250 SEK per session per person.

Registration must be made no later than one week before each activity. The number of places is limited to 8 people per session, so it's first come, first served.
