The closing concert of the festival offers a musical journey with the internationally recognised bass singer Staffan Liljas - living in Dalarna - together with pianist Daniele Rinaldo. The programme moves from a summer green start, via Mozart and Haydn, to Swedish novel classics by Emil Sjögren, and culminates in Brahms "Four Serious Songs" - songs with texts from both the Old and New Testaments.

After the break we take off with Brahms Piano Quartet in G minor, which ends with a passionate and fiery Romantic finale - a powerful crescendo to round off this year's Hildasholm music.

The concert is part of Hildasholm Music 2025 - an annual festival that takes place at beautiful Hildasholm, Alfvéngården and Leksand Church. This year's festival runs from 6-13 September and offers concerts with both established musicians and young talents.
