A meeting between young musicians and experienced festival artists in the name of music.
The evening begins with Carl Nielsen's first opus - a youthful masterpiece full of energy and optimism - performed with students from the Falun Music Conservatory. This is followed by Brahms' lyrical and mature Sextet in B flat major (first movement), which gives way to depth and reflection.

After the interval, we meet Daniele Rinaldo, Elisabeth Zeuthen Schneider and Toke Møldrup in Beethoven's magnificent piano trio "The Archduke" - a work that takes us through the whole emotional spectrum with dignity and vigour.
