ABOUT HILDASHOLM
On the banks of Lake Siljan in Leksand lies Hildasholm, the doctor and author Axel Munthe's wedding gift to his wife Hilda. The house from 1910 is well preserved and surrounded by a fantastic Arts and Crafts centre with gardens in close interaction with nature.
During the summer season we offer guided tours, art exhibitions and events for the whole family. Stroll through the gardens, enjoy a coffee in our café and experience the wings of history in one of Dalarna's most fascinating environments.

Join us for a guided tour inside the beautiful house at Hildasholm. Our knowledgeable guides will take you through the house and its amazing history. Get to know the Munthe family and feel the wings of history in the house from 1911.
The garden is shown by our gardener, and includes both history and gardening knowledge.
Thank you for a wonderful harvest market and Hildasholm Folk Music Festival! Hildasholm's gardens can still be visited on weekdays until 30 September with Swish payment.
In September, the ghost walks return to Hildasholm. Join us through the dark garden and meet literary figures, historical personages and perhaps a nature spirit.
