This year's Hildasholm Music Festival was given a very special setting. Over three days, Hildasholm, Alfvéngården and Leksand Church were filled with music, encounters and memories, this year in memory of Adam Munthe.
The weekend began at Hildasholm on Friday 7 August, where pianist Daniele Rinaldo, cellist Toke Møldrup and clarinetist Johnny Teyssier met the audience in an intimate concert in the Hildasholm drawing room.
On Saturday, the Hildasholm Music Festival continued at Alfvéngården, where Daniele Rinaldo and Toke Møldrup provided the evening's concert.
Three days of music concluded on Sunday with a memorial concert for Adam Munthe in Leksand Church. Participants included Daniele Rinaldo, Staffan Liljas, Capella Alfvéniensis, Pär Ohlsson, Maria Wernberg, Peter Rousu and Jeanett Rousu.
This year's Hildasholm Music Festival thus became both a continuation of an appreciated musical tradition and an occasion to remember Adam and his importance to Hildasholm and music.
