This summer, Hildasholm will be filled with music, stories, and performing arts. Throughout July, expect both powerful folk music and a new musical theatre performance about Hilda Munthe and her world.
On July 9th, the guest BOOT Hildasholm with heavy folk music, strong presence, and acoustic power. With drive, darkness, and a wide tonal spectrum, the music moves from the delicate and beautiful to darkly thrumming and fierce polskas. A concert for those who want to experience folk music with weight, nerve, and energy.
At the end of the month, the premiere is for Hilda - musical theatre at Hildasholm. The performance takes place in the parlour and draws inspiration from Hilda's life and world. It will be a playful and atmospheric experience where music, theatre and the history of the place meet.
The premiere takes place on July 30th at 19:00. On July 31st, there will be both a matinee performance at 16:00 and an evening performance at 19:00.
